 Was reading the often repeated quote "forgiveness is just another name for freedom" trying to credit the quote to some guy whose name I am not recalling at the moment.  All I could think of was how could you forgive the RADICAL LEFT in the United States? Those weak minded bleeding hearts believe nonsense like: Mankind has changed the climate irreparably Won't acknowledge possibility election was rigged to elect a guy who should be in a nursing home  Rodney King is martyr when he was really a convicted felon who spent 3 years incarcerated and was frequently in trouble with the law. Defund police which would last as long as it would take for one of the daughters to get gang-raped in broad daylight  And all the stuff Clive Palmer says about numskulls down under.  So, NO I don't forgive liberal minded folks in the Biblical sense or in the way Byron Katie intended since conservative minds constantly have to deal with Karens and other messes created by their mindless...

So we have close friends and relatives in Dexter and Hagerman New Mexico. Go Demons!! We dodged the stay at home orders up north and visited recently.  After arguing about politics with stubborn close minded in laws for a few hours, we ventured to the "big city" Roswell and picked up a copy of their newspaper at the friendly staffed Farmers Market in North part of town. We knew about the drug addiction tragedies of Hispaniola, but were upset at an advertisement " Wanna get high? paid for by Davis Rental and Supply. The ad had a small picture of an elevated construction platform attached to truck as its moving base. So yeah we got it. Kinda cute. Elevated equals Get High. On the front page of the Daily Record was an announcement that drug dealers Adrian Acosta and Brandon Johnson are going to legally sell pot, marijuana, grass which they called medical cannabis and CBD. Close to Midnight some trusting soul left their vehicle running as they went inside to grab some smokes and a six pack at a convenience store in Roswell New Mexico United States of America. 18 year old Anthony Castaneda noticed this display of ignorance and was charged with the unlawful taking of a silver 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. Tony is no model citizen having six traffic-related violations on his criminal record. So what would possess Tony to do something so obviously stupid. Many criminals are very intelligent and usually have a plant. My guess is that Castaneda had a chop shop in mind.He probably was going to take the ripped off vehicle to a business which would  disassemble it and sell its parts.  OR maybe he was a meth head who was behaving irrationally thinking he could actually get away with it, by evading police officers, despite the 500 block of West McGaffey Street Allsup's video surveillance!

So the addict and drug dealer played by Al Pacino sneaks into the hospital after visiting hours have ended, and makes friends with an artist/addict named Helen. She was trying to rehab, but was spending a lot of time with the affable addict who was still using and selling injectable addictive substances like heroin. The movie about Needle Park in NYC was a little too lax about the dangers of addiction featuring way too many scenes showing off Pacino's handsomely infectious smile. One scene involved a druggie burglar who bragged about putting toothpicks in Apartment door locks so the thief could hear the tenant entering, giving the substance abuser a chance to get away with stolen goods that would help him support his life threatening habit. From a Movie Review perspective, I wonder if book author James Mills intended for the film to have such a laid back and mellow message to young viewers who might be battling alcohol and drug dependency?  The EVERYTHING IS OK ideology work...

Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the Jasmine in my mind December 13, 2019 was another ignominious day in the seat of Chaves County,NM whose economy hopelessly depends on state spending at a Military School and a dairy entity that is the most prolific mozzarella cheese manufacturer in the entire world. There is some accounting work done for booming petroleum industry in West Texas, but overall very few decent jobs. This seat is a North Side South Side divided town, with much of the gun violence happening in the southeast region of town much like its neighbor to the North Albuquerque. Miss Martinez, age 29, was gunned down by a felon boyfriend in the 200 block of east Deming which is just barely located in that crime-infested part of town. This felon, Jimmy Aragon, was arrested for killing her and tampering with evidence. The death sentence would prevent Aragon from doing it again to some other trusting soul looking for love. The home you see in the picture below appears to be an example of a home that was the object of an extensive statistically based study by Ackerman Security. The study conducted by one of our nations most prominent security specialists concluded that a "fake security sign" could possibly make you more of a target of burglars and home invaders since they would take more time to determine if there really were surveillance cameras installed on/in your home! This home at 114 West Mathews in Roswell New Mexico has the very common SMILE Your are on camera sign attached to the chain link fence of this $60,000 rental property which was built in 1940. The home, in the shadows of Lagrone Funeral Parlor, had a number of cars parked around it and one wonders if there is something going on within its walls that would command 100% privacy. It seems like almost weekly that meth makers, dealers, and distributors are arrested.

It is no secret that advertising is equivalent to some form of deception. The following small town pair of newspaper advertisements seem to prove that along with the well known truth that sex sells. Roswell NM United States of America is known for its over abundance of churches and its weak labor force. Most of the qualified people are teachers, work for Leprino, or the Military School. Then there is the car and insurance salesmen. The very conniving group of jewelers is represented in the ad that you see below. The Bullock's Jeweler advertisement appears to suggest wife swapping as some advice for a stale marriage. "A married woman with two studs" next to a couple of huge diamonds. So I guess that astronomical markup causes owner and sales staff to abandon their moral compass.   Also Mr Thomas Jackson is conducting an Anxiety, Depression, and Addiction seminar in alien city. PHD Jackson state that free child care for the age range 4 to 7 was available. I guess...

The two pictures you see of a Roswell, New Mexico pauper/"street person" is quite misleading. This appropriately attired gentlemen lives in the southeast part of town known for its rough neighborhoods, shootings, burglaries, and meth labs. The first picture shows the beggar standing across from Marshalls next to Sams Club gas station on this busy Saturday afternoon. The beggar knows that with a such high volume of traffic, maybe one in 30 motorists will feel sorry for him and donate enough for him to collect around $150 for standing around for 3 hours. The second picture is a close up where you can see his very standard pity invoking "God Bless" sign. The beggar apparently does not know that the Good Lord helps those who help themselves. Whats really sad is that many Roswell citizens have seen this guy around town minus the beard and wearing nice clothes! The newspaper scan you see is part of an announcement/advertisement in the local newspaper indicating the arrival of a much needed neurologist in Roswell,NM. Strokes and other neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Bell's Palsy are quite common in this small town in southeastern, New Mexico. Also liver disease/hepatitis, fatty liver, diabetes is prevalent due to high incidence of alcoholism. I am sure most of the community is excited about a new doctor coming to town, but we just wish it would be sooner! Dr. Mahsa Matloobi will be starting her practice of medicine sometime in October, but the advertisement you see was from an RDR published in early August. Physician shortages are so common in the Alien City that many have given up on establishing a long term relationship with a medical professional and just go to either Lubbock,TX or Albuquerque or maybe even El Paso,TX. At least twice in Houston,TX, Walmart has been sued by the family of a shoplifter. Yes, that's right! Somebody stole goods from Walmart and their theft control employees tried to restrain the thief resulting in the world's largest retailer having to defend themselves in court. The following theft occurred at the 1960 Atascocita location back in 2004. The perpetrator appeared to be a meth head who ripped off around 100 dollars worth of merchandise and then ran out of the store with loss-prevention employees in hot pursuit. The perpetrator, Stacy Driver, was pinned to the ground in Walmart parking lot. Driver continued to struggle rather than admit he had stolen the items and await his day in court. Driver died in the Walmart parking lot, one of the causes of his death being  hyperthermia with methamphetamine toxicity. His family sued Walmart retaining Jim Lindeman as their legal counsel.
