What common experience does Cattle Barons Restaurant and Roswell Escrow Services(RES) share? I won't keep you in suspense. The were both victims of crooked, cheating husband wife teams. The dynamic duo Christopher Adam Jensen-Tanner and Mindy Jensen-Tanner, who were joint owners of RES, appear to be ripping off around 800 people who entrusted RES with remitting their  property tax  payments to Chaves County.  Chaves County Treasurer Charlotte Andrade said that these 800 accounts  still had to pay up on their December 10th tax bill. This means that if RES does not uphold its fiduciary capacity(steals their clients payments made in good faith), then clients will be DOUBLE PAYING their biannual(every 6 months) property tax payments!!!  Andrade is just doing her job of collecting the RISD funding tax money, BUT there are still a lot of pissed of people in the often crooked Alien City.

We received the following Wells Fargo offer for a "free $400" deposit into a new checking account that would be opened by us. We were asked to set up and receive direct deposits for 3 or more consecutive months. Our direct deposits had to be 3000 dollars or more for each of those consecutive three months. We had to jump through hoops and spend around an hour on the phone removing 10 dollar monthly service fee that we were assured would NOT be imposed. Never got the $10 fee removed! So for the first two months we met the $3000 or more monthly requirement. During the third month, my wife fell ill and we only had direct deposits adding up to $2600. Wells Fargo said we fell short of "the promotional requirements of the original deal. We waited the required 45 day for the  bonus to be deposited. It NEVER happened and they never credited us for the 10 dollar service fee they said we never owed.  Don't fall for their deception!

Anybody who has been irritated late at night by automated phone calling bots(aka robocalls) is probably familiar with the tragic plight of 82 year old Marjorie Jones. She killed herself after a fraudulent robocall stole her life savings!! Her granddaughter, Angela Stancik, spoke of the momentous and depressing effect this had on all who  loved and lost the precious member of their family. Grandma was spoofed by the scummy elder preying  criminals who made the call look like someone on her contact list. Some scam robocalls these days are rigged to make it look like they originate at a hospital. For example, patients waiting on the results of cancer tests, etc.  The vulnerable person is then more susceptible to having  sensitive personal and financial information stolen from them!

Much of what follows was reported in Houston newspaper way back in in April of 2004.  A Match employee revealed a deceptive tactic that was executed just before the expiration of a client's subscription. This rant is a true OH MY GOD as it describes two elderly women in Los Angeles who take out life insurance policies on homeless, street people. The two women named Helen Golay and Olga Rutterschmidt exhibit abject sociopathic behavior knowing that homeless people are simple targets and likely have no loved ones that will step to their defense. Michael Ingram, a state insurance executive, stated the two beyond 70 year old women befriended the homeless men, put them up in an apartment, got all the necessary life insurance beneficiary signatures and then staged their deaths as a hit and run accident in an alley where there were no witnesses. Some T-Mobile account holders were billed for a horoscope service they never requested and did not even think to look for when their month bill arrived! The real proof in the pudding that T-Mobile is crooked is that 40% of their customer base requested refunds for certain services that were not part of the customer's original contract/agreement.When almost one half of your customers are irate, that is invariably conclusive proof that service sucks or they are being ripped off.
