The daughter of a Mayor turned  the wrong way on a major thoroughfare crashing into a motorcycle driver KILLING him. In the United States this would be vehicular homicide. The deadly event occurred in Southern Luzon. The Mayor of the Philippine community did not take responsibility for his daughter, who was driving without at license. A Radio investigative reporter type who goes by Idol brought the injustice to the public eye and even utilized the legal expertise of his lawyer son-in-law. The animated online advertisement was blinking What your car insurance company does not want you to know ! The ad could tell we lived in Hobbs, NM and promised unbelievable savings on our current auto insurance. As you can see from the screenshot below, the ad claims there is a rule specific to New Mexico that our GEICO insurance is not telling us about that would save us much more money. It wanted us to enter our zip code, daily mileage, and whether or not we had been convicted of a DUI. I filled it all out and guess what? The premiums were a little more than what we are currently paying! And I still do not know what the hell the rule was that was supposed to make insurance costs lower in this region.
