Question a Credit Card you can use to pay your rent

I do hope folks who have lived in "their own home"(The bank/lender owns "your home" until you have made the last mortgage payment)  for over 5 years saw through the ruse being spread around by the 31 year old man who attended Wharton School in Pennsylvania(He did not mention whether he had graduated so we can assume he probably didn't)  Ankur Jain stops short of saying that renting a dwelling is stupid while peddling a credit card that will give you cash back and rewards on most people's largest expense which is their rent.  Mr Jain does not mention the enormous cost of property tax, homeowner's insurance, HOA costs and the inevitable repairs and maintenance that can transform the American Dream into the American Nightmare! Ankur is fatuous enough to conclude that paying a landlord is the same thing at "throwing away your money".   Any discerning reader should be able to see falsehoods are being disseminated to benefit Jain and NOT to help tho...

What did the phrase "disassociated COP" mean in this TV Commercial?

Image
Something about the pot bellied business owner made me wonder if he could really be  relied upon to provide security that was any better than just calling 911 for a regular police officer. Aaron T. Jones had just criticized Cops for being disassociated and not being as up to the task as his security guards at International Protective Service(IPS) Was Jones trying to say that BLM and our extremely liberal president take the gun out of police officer's holsters?  Also, how did International become part of his company's name when he is based in Albuquerque and ostensibly provides his services to only New Mexicans. He states that he provided body guard services for high profile movie stars and dignitaries from other countries. So why did he move from Los Angeles where the business seemed fairly lucrative. Also why would an ex police officer use the more derisive and condescending term COP in an underperforming less than adequate fashion??? Is the dude turning his back on for...

So many formerly principled people selling out to YouTube

Do you all remember when UTube was sort of novel and fascinating? The good ole days when a poor couple, living off of government assistance could video their Baby farting, which would in turn generate a lot of page views at YouTube.  ' Viewers would flag it a a favorite and ghetto Mom and Dad would earn enough ad revenue to move out of the housing projects monetizing Junior's Flatulence.  Was reminded of times past after reading following Tweet: Michelle Joy Phelps @MichellePhelps ·Aug 1, 2019 Hey Fight Fans! I’m in this weeks issue of  @BoxingNewsED on stands today!  The big difference between Baby Boy cutely passing gas and Phelps is she begs you to subscribe to her channel when she interviews boxing legends like Marvelous Marvin Hagler about the way he got hit by bottles after he CRUSHED the ignorant racist Brit who  guaranteed he would not lose to a Negro. She is not the only one. A mathematician named Michael Penn did a back flip before working a chal...

Tricky terms/language for this Balance Transfer Credit Card

I am very confused about the Capitol One Quicksilver 18 month 0% APR Balance Transfer offer. The exact language/terms of the Credit Card Balance transfer is as  follows: 0% for 18 months beginning with the first transfer associated with this offer. After that, you will be charged the APR for Purchases, currently 17.99% variable. Does this mean that any charge/purchase on the 1.5% cash back credit card will incur 17.99% APR immediately OR after 18 months!!!!!???!  Until I get a clear answer from a Capitol One Quicksilver customer service representative, that shiny care will collect dust or get cut up.  Any reviews or commentary would be welcome.

Use Car Sales declining for what reason?

The last thing of interest I can conceive of during this killer virus pandemic is the price of a luxury car. Yet a guy with porcelain white teeth(potential for adverse periodontal consequences) spent some money doing a Mercedes Benz commercial produced in Albuquerque NM  USA.    This cat started out by saying we live in interesting times blah, blah, blah. Then Tom Bohlman said something vague like   "Crazy behavior forced upon by the governor's overly restrictive COVID policy". Maybe the lead car salesman or owner? Counterintuitively, Diego Mendoza-Moyers writes that luxury car purchases are at close to all time highs in the San Antonio TX area compared to used car sales. Go figure! That means Trevor Skaggs has nothing to fear.

Rumblin, bumblin, Stumblin and Prevaricating

Was quite disappointed to see Rumblin', Bumblin', Stumblin" Chris Berman now an "advocate" of the auto maintenance insurance company CarShield.  House with Bride consumer advocate James Davis writes of the may many ripoffs and scams perpetrated on trusting customers. CarShield has many more negative reviews than good ones. Their customer service is dismissive and rude.   Do not buy into the bullshit  that CarShield will  fill in the GAP after manufacturer warranty has expired!! Chris was a great sports commentator! HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY, but the old man is trying to monetize his fading name recognition. Don't be suckered, duped, or deceived. Do not be fooled by their Diamond service package. Their customer support did not even know what their most expensive service plan entailed and their 24/7 roadside emergency phone number was busy for around an hour when we got stranded in the snow recently states one very pissed off customer!

Are NO Fee Balance Transfer Credit Cards a thing of the past?

Just read Joe Resendiz financial whiz article about Best Credit Cards with No Balance Transfer Fee. I checked each one of them including the Edward Jones World Master Card and Alliant. NONE OF THEM had a zero Balance Transfer Fee.  Was surprised at the disinformation and the lack of due diligence and substantive research practiced by a guy who normally prides himself in being a reliable financial services writer.  Lending Tree and Value Penquin need to vet their human resources better in a time were many are experiencing hardship, depression and suicidal ideation.

Insurance as it Relates to Statistics

So this Penn State Wharton College of Business dude favors mild rants posted via resources paid for by the University of Pennsylvania and I am disappointed I could find nothing on the well known gamblers paradox where the expected value is infinite, but no experienced gambler, without a PHD in mathematics, would wager on!!!! Leave that aside and observe J. Michael Steele is engaging in slightly risky behavior by posting anything faintly religious or Pro Biden on the Nittany Lion servers. The statistics whiz defines a rant as any language that conveys violent/extravagant/caustic views or opinions. His loyal viewers would appreciate more effort expended on the topic of actuarial science and the model they use to predict the exact day someone will die based on smoking, genetics and tendencies towards unconventional sex.  The flood insurance piece promulgated by Doctor Steele does informatively expose how bad Joe Average consumer is getting ripped by insurance behemoths....

The Top ONE reason you can NOT trust insurance Agents

Marianne Bonner wrote an article titled 10 signs that an Insurance agent is being dishonest with you. I think Mrs Bonner wasted way too much time composing her writing! Why?  The only sign required to establish dishonesty here is the individual chose to be an insurance agent. Car Salesmen fall into the same category and in many cases Real Estate agents. A common practice among insurance brokers is to add unnecessary coverages not requested by client. This tactic is more common when they are dealing with the elderly, much like the massive class action suit that was filed against Vivint home security corporation for ripping off old people in Artesia, Carlsbad, Roswell, and Hobbs New Mexico.  Patrick Wraight writes illuminatingly about the perils of trusting health insurance policies. We only really know what the carrier will pay after we are stricken with the appendicitis or the excruciatingly painful kidney or gall bladder stones.

What does Home Protector Plus Mean in Insurance Parlance?

Image
Just reviewed a Liberty Mutual Homeowners Insurance personalized quote. The quote for the new annual premium  increased by almost $100, even though we have not filed a single claim in the 10 year life of our detached home! While I was on the phone twiddling my thumbs with GEICO customer service rep for around 30 minutes, I noticed the Total Standard Policy with HomeProtector plus TM(Trademark) on premium statement.(See above screen shot of Liberty Mutual Statement). When I asked the agent what this trademarked feature was, she had no idea what Home Protector PLUS was or how it added any protection or value to Hazard Insurance policy. Does anybody know anything about this?

Suspiciously High Hazard Insurance Quote

Image
My relatives at family reunions all believe that insurance agents do what they do because they have proven they are not any good at other professions. I believe that claim is probably true about Allen Sturtevant who is an Allstate insurance agency owner out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Allen sent us an inflated Homeowners Quote of around $1500 on a home that we insured for less than $1000 last year. Mr Sturtevant is  proud of his computer program that reads through public information files from appraisal districts all over the Land of Enchantment and sends out tens of thousands of mail box cluttering unwanted snail mail solicitations.  Texas watchdog Dave Lieber writes about the illegality of appraisal districts hiding market values of homes in ones proximity to mask the true taxable value of ones domicile. This makes it easier for unscrupulous insurance salesmen to charge unfair annual premiums since property owners are left in the dark about the true value of their...

Getting Financially Gouged at Hospital

Image
Research estimates as much as 58% of students have cheated while in medical school. Also any estimate of cheating is likely underestimated for simple reason cheaters are also liars when it comes polls or surveys. Read the findings of Kenneth D. Royal for more depth and breadth on this disturbing truth.  So the next time you shake your doctor's hand, that same hand was once covered with crib notes for a midterm human physiology exam. The snail mail advertisement you see was sent by Naishadh A. Mankad, MD who used to practice medicine in Hobbs, NM USA. Doctor Mankad promises to deliver high-quality medical attention and a lotta love and compassion at Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell, New Mexico.  Lovelace Regional tried to rip us off bad a few months ago when my daughter went in for some GP referral  Echography on her kidneys. The referring doctor told us Lovelace would not ask for any out of pocket money AND that our BCBS would be billed for the diagn...

Interest rate fluctuations online banks

A few months Capital One Bank sent us a promotional offer promising they would deposit $450 in our 360 account approximately three months after we deposited $55,000 of new money in the account always maintaining a balance that exceeds 50 K. At the time the interest rate or APR was 1%. The rate has since fallen to 0.6% without any notice from the online bank. At least Amex will notify you they are lowering their rates which are prevailing at 1 per cent(almost twice the earnings rate of Capital One) after being as high as 2.1% pre COVID. If this continues we will just transfer the 55 Grand back to Amex. The Cha Ching of 450 dollar longevity bonus will actually probably keep us from that drastic measure.  BTW Hillbilly Jose Medeiros has a beautiful perspective on dealing with Corona virus as a mountain man. Sorry sooo off topic!!

Do NOT Refi based on email contact

Image
Realtors are prostitutes that just work at a slightly slower pace with sexual favors usually not part of the negotiations.  Car salesmen work faster than both! First thing I wanted to know when I got this email solicitation for a 2.5% fixed rate mortgage was whether is would be OK to have breast intercourse with the bra less washed up actress reduced to doing real estate advertisements.   The ad you see says no hidden fees or points, but that was I lie when I called them and they said it would cost me about $4500 to refi in order to save $80 a month on my mortgage payment! NO THANKS and click! We checked with Michele Lerner who was a ton of help as far as avoiding Re Finance Scams and Rip offs. My Ex Wife also got a lot of assistance from Rebecca Lake who had even better tits than what you see in the pic!

Four words real estate agents DESPISE

Image
Read an ad in the Hobbs NM newspaper that had a marketing slogan I had never seen. A realtor named Pattison came up  with the original shill SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO SELL !   Look at the advertisement below to see the old dilapidated haunted house the agent used to humorously get her point across. What is actually more spooky is the fact that COVID-19 is forcing some people to sell their beloved homes when they don't want to!  And the realtors, like a vulture smelling dead flesh, swoop in. I do wonder why she would say I AM NOT NUMBER ONE, YOU ARE!     Are the people in Artesia, Carlsbad, and Roswell actually stupid enough to be flattered by such deceit. Did she think she was number one until she became a real estate agent? Let me tell you what a realtor's NUMBER ONE is. It is 7% of your home's sell price, so Cheryle  would make a cool 14 thousand dollars on your $200,000 home. The fee may be 6%, but that is more than anybody deserves for selling Y...

Bogus Homeowner's insurance solicitation

Image
I first want to apologize to the real Kelly Garlin who is probably honest and works hard for his/her money. Somebody may have stole your good name as a front to try and sell bogus home owner's insurance policies. Somebody with this email address, k.garlin@mortgagehelp.site, sent us the following unwanted solicitation stating she could save us $567 on our annual homeowner's insurance. So Kelly, please quit sending out spam email as you are very traceable. I know COVID has made many of  quite desperate to eke out a living, but I will take legal action if you continue to harass via email!! I found multiple Kelly Garlin:  A registered democrat from from Derby, Connecticut USA Jasmin Kelly Garlin from Brussels Belgium  Saint Adairsville, Georgia Search Results Web results Info Found for 4006 79Th St W Bradenton, FLwww.cyberbackgroundchecks.com › address › bradenton 3430 Bimini St UNIT B, Sarasota, FL 34239 7405 [Sarasota County]. Ghost Town disinformation

Thank you Alyssa Burgin for exposing the inaccuracies  onlyinyourstate.com regarding nostalgic ghost towns in West Texas. That particular site is nothing more than an ad revenue generating joke. They will cut their own throats if more alert consumers like yourself uncover their inaccurate research and false claims.  I may have taken a Russian class in Austin with you long ago, but I could have the wrong Alyssa!  I remember that you had an interest in conservation and sustainable forms of energy or something. Being a high profile environmentalists these days can put one in opposition with the "best interests" of corporations hell bent on destroying our natural resources. Thanks for what you do.

Trivia Web Site Ad Mill Technique

Tomas Valero was distraught over how upset his daughter was every day after attending school at Pine Grove Elementary. She came home crying, frustrated, and so mad she could not explain her torment to her caring family!  Papa Valero decided enough was enough so he placed a recording device in daughter’s hair where harsh teacher or class bully would not see it.  At this point, trivia.com site inserts a big blue next button which will send you to a page filled with metastatic breast cancer, heart attack, and diabetes cure advertisements. Not much more information is provided about Valero's extreme anxiety.  You guessed it another Next button on a page with more male impotence and erectile dysfunction ads. So this process repeats itself around 10 time with no reason given for daughters excruciatingly painful mental state. That's right Ad Mill scheme to generate multiple clickable advertisements never disclosed if the camera in daughter's hair presented an abusive classmate,...

Bad news for real estate prices in SE

What is up with the South East parts of USA communities and increased violence? Odessa Texas native Seth Aaron Ator, laid off from his Oilfield job, went on a shooting rampage that shook up the community and destroyed the core of a number of families in the region. The SE side of Albuquerque NM is well known for it heinous acts of aggression and murder. Duran-Lujan fatally shot Leroy Jaramillo Acosta, 37, at the stroke of the witching hour in 300 block of East Ballard which is in southeastern quadrant of Roswell New Mexico. This horrific incident happened at family gathering!   Some gas pumps in Roswell NM were damaged when a pickup truck, driven by Victor Barron, that was being chased by a Chaves County sheriff's deputy crashed into two pumps, creating a massive intensely hot blaze. Barron then escaped the scene leaving a  female Bell Gas station attendant with severe third degree burns. She was treated in Lubbock,Texas. Newspaper has not reported the state of her h...

Lenders, Realtors, Insurance Agents and Car Salesmen

Newspapers are important, but they are also a source of a great deal of deception and misinformation. An example are the newspaper ads in Albuquerque, NM promoting the services of Lynette N. Turpen. Not everything is fully disclosed until you actually sit down at the table to close after your heart is set on that dream home. Lenders have a way of squeezing every last drop out of you since they know you want that house come hell or high water! Amy Lignor wrote that Janette Lucero JP Stone Community Bank mortgage loan originator served her community for 46 years. The VP is leaving town to be a grandmother in some other place. One of my cousins, with a high credit score, applied online at JP Stone for a 15 year Adjustable Rate Mortgage(ARM in financial industry lingo) He graduated in the top 10 per cent of his class at Roswell High and had been at the same job for over 2 years. The FRIENDLY community bank REJECTED his loan application. That don't sound much like faithfully servin...
