Mild Rants

 The game show host was quite fond of the term ensconce(Establish or settle someone or something in a comfortable, safe, or secret place) to describe a Jeopardy contestant who had a commanding lead.  For example, Ken Jennings who characterized Alex Trebek as tepidly stern, was ensconced in first place going into Final Jeopardy probably around 50 times in his fabled career as a contestant and briefly as a host on the best game show in television history. Alex was the best, but had a few flaws. The biggest flaw was costing the players precious time by adding his commentary after each answer or reminding them there was a minute remaining consuming around 7 seconds of that remaining minute. The first contestant I noticed to aggressively cut off Alex was Arthur Chu. I only mean aggressive in the sense Chu would not let Alex complete his sentence with respect to updates on dollar amounts or adding additional unnecessary commentary to last answer.  The articulate advocate and fan of the performing arts(theater in NYC) spoke insightfully of the harmony and leadership Terry Bradshaw provided for his team. Jack Ham had extreme contempt for prima donna quarterbacks who were more interested in their individual goals over the best interests of the TEAM. TB could spell cat if you gave him c and t. He could also spell CUNT Thomas Hollywood Henderson which is what you were and why the Cowboys always lost to the Steelers when you played for the POKES. Coming from Langston College in Oklahoma could have been why your egomania was so unfixable.  TB's intelligence spans many spheres from verbal to spiritual. He openly shares his experiences with depression, helping many who realize superstar athletes face the same emotional difficulties as the Joe Averages that walk the face of this planet.  The Oklahoma State Cowboy fan, with flowing golden locks of long hair, was screaming and yelling cuz the Stillwater Bunch had managed to send the game against the Longhorns of Texas to overtime. She, I mean HE , took off HER/HIS mask to yell vociferously at the cameraman while spitting COVID in all directions. The fans adjacent to this boisterous football freak were donning their masks and making some attempt to physically distance.  Our Hippie Boy and Trey Efeney of College Station have been thrust into national prominence due to roving cameras attempting to catch fans all caught up in the moment of urging their team to win. Would expect the Land Grant Gauntlet newspaper to know this zealous fanatic!  I still don't get how Bobby Reid's life ended because of that rant. Is Reid saying he can't do anything but football?
