Teacher Break Rooms: Veritable cesspools of negativity!!!

Nothing but respect for educator par excellence  Kris Hinrichsen. The Anchorage, Alaska teacher was not afraid to speak his mind regarding some of the vicious and unprofessional instructor break room gossip about intractable students and parents. Kris points out that this is flat out WRONG for a second grade teacher to talk critically about a problem child to child's potential third grade teacher. This has obvious ramifications with how third grade teacher would handle the inevitable discipline issues with said student. 

Derrick Meador did a marvelous job of enumerating the damaging effects of excessive educator venting over under performing and sometimes disruptive kiddos. The Oklahoma State University graduate calls out principals  to be proactive in clamping down on hypercritical teachers including disciplinary action up to firing the malcontent who is always bitching about something!!!

Hinrichsen is a natural leader and teacher, but also has skill in coining  powerful metaphors like break room equals cesspool for negativity. I LOVE IT DUDE! Keep doing what you are doing slick. Your Zoom meeting was awesome and Artesia, New Mexico adores you. We are glad you got back into teaching after being driven out by pretentious and arrogant educators.

So most of you have received many pieces of snail mail where the solicitor or advertiser of a service DEMANDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION with implied threats or fines if recipient does not respond immediately. We got one of those today from Brian Werger, an agent of Trustage Insurance company, and his partner in crime Marsha Swanson who we were compelled to rush our correspondence back to. Brian's ruse was $5000 worth of free life insurance if you just went to the trouble to fill out the clumsy paperwork and return it postage free. This is around the 10th such unwanted advertisement we have received from  Brian and Marsha. We emailed him at Brian.Werger@cunamutual.com alerting him to the fact we DID NOT WANT TO SEE OUR MAIL BOX CLUTTERED WITH HIS STUFF. We did this 3 months ago and he persists in sending us CUNA Mutual Group's consumer brand promotional materials anyway!! I guess Miss Swanson, who may also be a Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage real estate agent work...

Don't be fooled by this Email Spoofing Entity

Do NOT be duped  livenlonpro unsolicited emails claiming that you have had a credit card application rejected. Jennifer Abel wrote about the nightmare experienced by James R Hood regarding a fake Amazon order. ScamAdviser published its opinion that the site is safe, but do not be deceived. They sent me an email about my credit card application being rejected and I HAD NOT APPLIED FOR A CREDIT CARD IN OVER 4 YEARS. Max Gannon, writing for CoFence, details how they are the classic Phishing scam. Do not download anything from them unless you enjoy having your laptop or desktop paralyzed by malware from their email spoofing algorithm!! I was not able to find the physical address of  livenlonpro  which is a strong indication they are fly by night fraudsters.

Doctor Shortages in Small Town America

The newspaper scan you see is part of an announcement/advertisement in the local newspaper indicating the arrival of a much needed neurologist in Roswell,NM. Strokes and other neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Bell's Palsy are quite common in this small town in southeastern, New Mexico. Also liver disease/hepatitis, fatty liver, diabetes is prevalent due to high incidence of alcoholism. I am sure most of the community is excited about a new doctor coming to town, but we just wish it would be sooner! Dr. Mahsa Matloobi will be starting her practice of medicine sometime in October, but the advertisement you see was from an RDR published in early August. Physician shortages are so common in the Alien City that many have given up on establishing a long term relationship with a medical professional and just go to either Lubbock,TX or Albuquerque or maybe even El Paso,TX.
