Capital One Scavenging off of Amazon Prime
We recently dropped our Capital One 1.5% cash back card because they ruled against us on a transaction we disputed for McAfee Virus protection product. McAfee almost tripled billed us for the malware protection product claiming that we selected auto renew a year prior.
Capital One gave us a credit for the over billing of $130, BUT reversed it when McAfee lied about the nature of the transaction. So we cancelled Capital One card so McAfee won't have a valid credit card number to bill when the virus protection expires! We liked the Capital One Card, but since McAfee never answers the phone, we had no choice.
By the way, don't trust the vulture Capital One product Wikibuy which automatically checks other sellers for lower prices for any thing you order with Amazon Prime. The Capital One ploy is very much like what a vulture does. Waits for something to die(meaning too high a price for Amazon search item) and then eats the rotting flesh.
I would not even think that was legal to surveil an a Amazon customer shopping in the App and then to steal the info from the App and offer an alleged better deal!!!!
