We read that New Mexico is one of the least expensive retirement spots in the USA due to stable real estate values and warm weather most of the year. A hasty Google search pulled up a town near Artesia New Mexico that boasted fairly priced homes not too far from medical facilities in Carlsbad and bigger population centers like Roswell. So we loaded up the SUV and high tailed it to Lake Arthur located about 5 miles east of US285 not too far out of Artesia and down the road from a place called Hagerman. We spotted the fixer-upper you see in the picture below located in the extreme eastern part of Lake Arthur. Knocked on the door, but no answer. My boy and me are quite handy and think we could turn this derelict looking property into a habitable retirement home making it the envy of other home owners. We were on the phone trying to contact Matt Vance after a harrowing incident involving a 2009 Ford  F350 Super Duty FX4 Lariat King Ranch Black pick up truck(Plate Number 595TDZ) near CloudCroft NM.  The driver of the vehicle was about 4 feet behind us in a 45 mph zone where we were already going over 50 miles per hour. So junior was struggling big time with this physics concept called grade resistance. He found this math tutoring site created by "Professor" Laurie Morvan. She did not do the video herself, but had a guy doing it who did not explain where the grade force resistance trig equation came from! Her site did not explain how the weight of a vehicle on the inclined plane modeled by a hill was broken up in to two forces; one perpendicular and one parallel to slope or incline of the hill!!! From the force diagram that results, one can conclude that the Force(F) acting against the car going up OR down the hill is equal the sine of the angle of inclination multiplied by the weight of car, truck, UPS delivery, 18 wheeler semi truck or whatever the particular mode of transportation/conveyance that is doing the moving. I wanted to reach out and see if anybody else was having issues with IRS Turbo Tax Filing program. I had heard from some colleagues in the breakroom at work that Turbo had settled some type of class action lawsuit because they are obligated to allow individuals and families with certain filing statuses to file FOR FREE. The screen shot you see here is a login security screen where Intuit or Turbo I guess is supposed to send us a 6 digit security code via a cell phone text. So we never got that security code!!! Tried multiple times. Maybe they can't handle the volume now that they have been ordered by Federal court to MAKE GOOD with all the customers they overcharged last tax season?! It did say on login screen that it might take a moment to send the code, BUT AFTER 2 MINUTES STILL NADA!!!
