Grandpa used to tell me people who sell insurance can't do anything else well, so that is the profession they land in. Got an unsolicited snail mail from Brooks D. Thompson in Spanish. Problem is, I am not a Mexican. Mr Thompson resides at 100 East Linda Vista Boulevard in Roswell New Mexico. That appears to be a residential address, so Brooks musta just got his license and is trying to establish his professional reputation. This new StateFarm agent should at least check the names in his  mass mailing list to see if they are Hispanic or not don't you think? Yo no pienso este muchacha esta buen empresario.

Debbie and Darrell Skaggs are blaming everybody but their son for his death when he asphyxiated on his vomit after overdosing on drugs and alcohol. I wonder if they plan on suing the alcoholic beverage producer for Tyler's alcoholism? Are they suggesting somebody forced him to ingest  alcohol, fentanyl and oxycodone, which in combination led to the regurgitation of his stomach contents, which ended up in his trachea leading effectively to suffocation. Tyler's addiction is nobody's responsibility but his own. Stop playing the blame game Mom and Dad and face the fact that your son had a hard time facing the world some days.

Jancey D. Quinitchette has played the role of professional victim quite well. Back in 2006 she claimed substandard section 8 code violations. Her fear of homelessness prevented her from going public regarding black mold she claims she found in Henderson rental property. More recently she accused sexy  Elise Digraffenreidt(attractive in her soccer uniform) of being a  slumlord in  Guilford County which the elderly and famous female TV judge saw right through! Jancey, a 54 year old black woman, lost court case to her 19 year old landlord where the court TV judge determined her unpaid rent should be paid back to landlord.

Phishing scams are so common these days that barely merits comment. However, I wanted to clear up the names of honest people who have had their good reputations tarnished by someone named "James Johnson" who appears to be using their names in a real estate scam. Mr Johnson informed us that an offer for your property is in the preparation phase . Now that is a fancy sounding phrase that could easily dupe many. So this representative listed an address of PO Box 6606675 #31403, Dallas Texas in his unwanted email solicitation that you can see below. Looked up the address and it was not BBB accredited.  Approved reviewers Seth C and Math H believe this property inquirer entity is up to NO GOOD. I must confess I was extremely moved by the emotional and heart felt account of mechanical engineer Jim Yancy. Jim described the difficulty associated with separating the love of his profession with the romantic love of his divorced wife. Jim effectively, although not explicitly, admits that an engineer's ego can be so inflated that he cannot have a meaningful conversation with a female who has captured his interests. The term nerd seems to emerge at every turn especially with the younger engineers. I was so interested about this topic that I decided to lurk at some professional engineer sites and found much to support my hypothesis that some engineers are so self-absorbed that it is almost impossible for them to sustain a marriage and often end up in custody battles over their kids with their ex wives. Pioneer Bank in Roswell, New Mexico United States of America has had many marketing slogans ranging from "An Old Friend" to "Our Neighbor". We had a 30 year 4.1% mortgage with them which was recently terminated for reasons they did not disclose. We paid our monthly payment on time without fail, but Pioneer Bank still chose to send our mortgage to another loan processor. They brag about "serving our community for 118 years", but they don't serve anybody that is not profitable to them. Their desperation is evident as you can see in the snail mail solicitation below where they are giving away a Prodyne Fruit Infusion Pitcher. They also offer a completely free checking account. WOW how progressive can you be in an era where all checking has been completely free for the last 10 years! Our realtor assured us that our home town bank would take care of us. Why wouldn't we be reassured by professions as honorable at real estate agents and banking?  P...

Anybody who has been irritated late at night by automated phone calling bots(aka robocalls) is probably familiar with the tragic plight of 82 year old Marjorie Jones. She killed herself after a fraudulent robocall stole her life savings!! Her granddaughter, Angela Stancik, spoke of the momentous and depressing effect this had on all who  loved and lost the precious member of their family. Grandma was spoofed by the scummy elder preying  criminals who made the call look like someone on her contact list. Some scam robocalls these days are rigged to make it look like they originate at a hospital. For example, patients waiting on the results of cancer tests, etc.  The vulnerable person is then more susceptible to having  sensitive personal and financial information stolen from them!

YO, there is a cat in Southeastern New Mexico named Russell A. Scott. The dude is hopelessly religious. Actually believes a man was dead for 3 days and then came back to life to save all humanity from ruinous conditions. I'll forgive him for that. 85% of the world's sheep like population believes in some kind of loving supernatural being. So Mr Scott wrote an officious letter to the editor of the Carlsbad Newspaper(may have been Artesia or Roswell; you can Google his name to find out if it matters to you). Old man Scott was criticizing another letter writer that he did not name.(Probably could not remember the name) Russell vehemently insisted said writer should inform the reader that his views were only opinions. Good God Almighty Mr Scott! So the tripe you spew is something other than feeble minded opinions of an insular Bible Thumper?!?! You hide behind pedantic definitions of words like refugee to support your tenuous arguments. When will you learn that the truly bright...

Richard Moy wrote a piece that distinguished between a head hunter and recruiter which matched up with my personal experience of dealing with a talent manager out of Farmington New Mexico. She was aggressive and NOT opposed to wearing tight skirts and other clothing elements that prominently displayed her jaw dropping cleavage! She made a huge 30% of your first year's salary as a commission for placing you with potential employers. I could sense her extreme disappointment when I rejected her recruiting efforts and remained with my then employer. I was reminded of this when a colleague shared a story about James Seay of Becker Wright Consultants. James was trying to recruit my buddy's daughter and she took the position. As far as I know everything worked out and she is very happy with the move that resulted in a salary and bonus increase along with a much prettier location to live. The reason the Common Dreams writer is not on the first tier of political observers is that he believes our commander and chief is a Nazi Fascist. Now for the connection to Roswell. Orlando Padilla, a well respected retired educator of 30 years in RISD, accuses the female superintendent of keeping removed stadium artificial turf to herself! I have to disagree partially with the review of Tammy Bahtina-Fox N.  of Subway sandwich shop in Roswell NM located out on West Second on the way to Ruidoso. A polite Hispanic kid waited on us and did a marvelous job, but they were out of ingredients that you would expect a national franchise to have. No Italian Herbs bread, NO UNSWEET TEA. We walked out because my wife's diabetes demands portion control to prevent blood sugar spikes. Also another irritant last time we were there is how the credit card machine will prompt you for the amount of a tip. This is ridiculous. It is not like this is restaurant where you sit down and are taken care of by a wait staff. The owner of this Subway should realize this is too desperate, close to begging for unearned money. It is almost like the mass mail mentality trolling for a few financial hits and adding extra time to complete a transaction in a fast food place.

I doubt the irony of attorney Lisa Bloom's tweet escaped discerning readers. I would prefer that Lisa be a full-time vegetarian converter. A much more honest and humanitarian gesture than the legal predation practiced by lawyers who only defend clients going after rich criminals. AND there is no doubt that the recent "suicide" Epstein was a criminal who did not deserve to breathe the air on this planet. Lawyer Bloom's microblog went something like Predator J. Dear Jason Boyd, By your own admission, you became addicted to painkillers at young age. Whose fault was that? Your parents, your friends at school, or perhaps YOUR FAULT ALONE . I get that southwest Virginia might be boring as hell. So you got addicted to opioids, ended up having four kids when you were not even capable of taking care of yourself. Below you will see what has become an incessant delivery in many American's Snail Mail Box. You know, it is the CARDS ENCLOSED envelope when one has not ordered any cards. Do you need any further build up or do you already know I am referring to AARP cards that you are forced to dispose of to avoid having your identity compromised by dumpster divers! Thank God all the electric paper shredders have a credit card or plastic card industrial strength shredder included at no cost. Just for the record AARP stands for the American Association of Retired Persons.We are proof that AARP sends their junk mail to people who are not that close to retirement age. I would ask CEO Jo Ann Jenkins to tell us why we get one of these bulk mail solicitations approximately every month? Smart Phones, New Cars, Credit Cards already give you essentially free road side assistance. Please let close to retirement folks know what distinguishes AARP from other services in the space? We dined at a place in south west New Mexico named Latitude 33 where many of the attractive young waitresses had tattoos. I was raised in an era where this type of "body art" was frowned upon as unbecoming and disease causing. This is no indictment of the quality of the restaurant in Truth or Consequences. To the contrary, the food, ambience and service was astounding at this cafe founded by a guy who wrote about his experiences at venues on or near the 33rd latitude! The experience reminded me of an article written by SONJA GARZA of the San Antonio Texas Express-news. Sonja detailed the services of a Bandera doctor who removed tattoos in a derelict feed store on the property of the Chukka Creek Ranch. The woman with the beautiful flowing grey hair was quietly alarmed over the actions of a Texas murderer who hated Mexicans and drove three hours to an El Paso Texas Walmart to shoot and kill 19 Hispanic/Mexicans. She was scanning her smart phone and talking with her face down to her partner sitting across from her at the well known Tasty Kabob restaurant. In her firm, but sotto voce tone, she adamantly was against the major TV news networks even mentioning the name of the mass murdering head cases who are in the news weekly for slaughtering hard working law-abiding USA citizens. The Grandmotherly figure also highly criticized those who blame the alleged racism of US President Donald Trump for all the mall and school killings. My personal thanks to soldier Glendon Oakley Jr. for jeopardizing his own safety to save the lives of others. On a lesser note, profuse personal thanks to food critic Claudia "Ninja" M. for turning us on to the TripleD eating establishment.

Major League Baseball has a reputation, among some of the uninformed, for being too long which leads to boredom. The Home Plate umpire, Chris Segal, in the Indian/Astro game on July 31, 2019, perpetuates that reputation. Urquidy, who is a strike zone placement specialist, was getting squeezed hard by HP umpire most of the night. Segal's strike zone was the size of thimble according to a Cleveland Radio commentator( Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus) who stated the final score of the game would be 10-9 if Segal called a "in the black pitch NOT a strike" type of game! He was not far from the truth in a game where the Stros lost 10-4. BTW, I love the aggressively critical comments of the radio guys who see to have more liberty to denounce a poorly officiated game.
