Rodgers Much more than a Mommy Hater

One has to love the perspective of this guy who posted pseudonymously as warofwords at the web site guardian.com. I think he is right on with his incisive observations as to why the United States has become a breeding ground for Elliot Rodger types who brag about their evolutionary fitness despite evidence to the contrary. The evidence being that women would not be caught dead with him. OH MY GOD!, that was a horribly inappropriate  unintended pun:

........these wacko mommy-hating dudes are out there en masse, not just on Reddit-inflected(infected sp?) sites and not just in prison for serial rape of women and little girls. Seems Rodger's otherwise useless life served a purpose after all: to show the world there are too many violent narcissist males who think they're "nice guys" and to make a lot more women consider the benefits of lesbianism.

Women were opting for lesbianism long before it was so easy for psychos to carry out the countless mass murders we see in the modern age, but incorrigibles like Rodger are likely elevating the lesbian population numbers.

 Finally the one effective thing Rodgers did was to take his own life after his murdering spree. This circumvented the long, expensive and controversial practice of giving his type legal due process. I would not oppose bypassing our cruel and unusual punishment hangups and bury guys like him alive. Not a very expensive method of execution and the victims families would know he suffered commensurately with the grief and devastation they have felt and will continue to feel for all their years.

    Please read the work of Harris O’Malley who speaks of toxic masculinity as a manifestation of the type of pain Elliot felt. Harris does an outstanding job of illuminating how frustration can get converted to extreme anger and become quite the combustible mixture.

      Sorry, it was Jessica Wakeman who coined the phrase toxic masculinity if I am not mistaken. In either event the phrase will survive more than a few years and remind us what twisted type of hateful distorted reality can be in engendered in the brains of of rich kids.

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
