I love my Mother: For Sale In United States

Kevin Durant's poignant heart-felt MVP speech about the indispensable role of his courageous and sacrificing mother was sincere and moving to all who listened as his dear Mom was shedding tears in the audience. Do any of you remember the days where there were certain things that were NOT for sale? I miss those days but know we will never be able to revert to them. Durant's mother often went hungry to feed her growing family and is obviously an exemplary parenting model for all to follow.

Ever since Kevin Durant's speech acknowledging his NBA most valuable player award, his agent says offers are coming in like a 5-on-1 fast break.

It's not surprising. In a 26-minute speech Tuesday, Durant praised each of his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates, management, fans and God. Then he elicited a standing ovation when he spoke of the hardships his mother endured.

    Was quite moved by this tweet of just another test(gjwriter) ....There are few people I have regretted letting into my life. But there is one who stands out. May I be lucky enough to never see him again..

    This is such a polite way of saying how toxic relationships can be. I see why people become hermits.. Things can head south in a hurry in Relationships!!!

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Gas stations doing this are in violation of some law. Not many of have the time to file a lawsuit against gas

Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
