The mysterious slide of Houston's lefty.

I could not feel worse for that Cajun Astro pitcher Wade Allen Miley. Miley is as kewl and laid back as they come, but he has collapsed to the point the Stros can not risk putting him on playoff roster. He has been indistinguishable from a batting practice thrower in his last 3 or 4 starts. I wish I knew what happened to Wade and wish him the very best if it is medical or personal reasons that have caused his precipitous decline in effectiveness. He is a control pitcher who the league appears to have "figured out". Sad part is that he was easily the third best pitcher on the Houston staff for MOST of the season. I also wish Andrew Gleinser has been more sensitive to Wade in his media coverage. However, Gleinser is correct in asserting that the Houston lefty can not be trusted as starter or long reliever in the post season.

One Inconvenient Bank

Image
The picture you see below is a group of potential banking victims standing in queue. They are lined up at First Convenience Bank in Roswell, New Mexico United States of America. The two females at end of line are deeply absorbed with their smart phones oblivious to the excessive fees and charges that could beset them! The marketing slogan for this bank located adjacent to Walmart checkout lines is YOUR TIME IS PRECIOUS. What that really means is that the bank will sign you up for an account real quick without disclosing how much they charge you for overdrafts etc. The only thing precious to this institution is upping their bottom line by imposing exorbitant fees on their valued customers . Oh if you don't trust my assessment, check out the many negative reviews at sitejabber: An Assistant  Manger at bank in San Antonio, TX stated the employee turnover is through the roof and Branch Manger will follow people around in store to drum up more business.  Another customer in A

Keep your Genitalia covered Boys

Having a unique uncommon name can really screw with one's sense of privacy. Those are easy searches on Google that turn up very few hits. Such is the plight of Mr Jered Alan Leatherman, of Roswell NM, who was charged with indecent exposure. The city's police blotter points out that everyone written up is presumed innocent. Also Christifer Dirickson was charged with receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, a slightly more common crime in my humble opinion. I do hope Mr Leatherman does not approach the frequency of one Trevor Timothy Deloache in Georgia. Trevor just has HARD TIME keeping that snake in his pants!! Oh well, there is always the professional services of lawyer Ambrosio Rodriguez who specializes in defending those who partake in these illegal mating rituals. Finally, Corey Adam Deck was accused of shoplifting somewhere on South Sunset Avenue.

Don't fall for this online Bank promotion

We received the following Wells Fargo offer for a "free $400" deposit into a new checking account that would be opened by us. We were asked to set up and receive direct deposits for 3 or more consecutive months. Our direct deposits had to be 3000 dollars or more for each of those consecutive three months. We had to jump through hoops and spend around an hour on the phone removing 10 dollar monthly service fee that we were assured would NOT be imposed. Never got the $10 fee removed! So for the first two months we met the $3000 or more monthly requirement. During the third month, my wife fell ill and we only had direct deposits adding up to $2600. Wells Fargo said we fell short of "the promotional requirements of the original deal. We waited the required 45 day for the  bonus to be deposited. It NEVER happened and they never credited us for the 10 dollar service fee they said we never owed.  Don't fall for their deception!

Houston Doctor generous with his knowledge

I was impressed regarding the direct and helpful commentary on diabetes prevention reported by Rajinder Bhalla who graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Doctor Bhalla emphatically states that the onset of Diabetes is not because of consumption of excess sugars/glucose. He relates it more to stunted metabolic function at night which causes the liver to overcompensate releasing more glucose into the blood stream to provide energy to wake up and start the new day! Rajinder also stresses that this dawn phenomenon, alone, is NOT dangerous with regard to contracting type 2 diabetes. Many with elevated blood sugar after fasting 8-10 hours have normal blood sugar levels during waking hours. For example a fasting blood sugar of 115 should not be a terrifying revelation as long is you are aware and managing it from a dietary and healthy amount of sleep perspective. Those in the the process of losing weight will continue to have high fasting glucose levels until the belly fat at wai
