Fitness Centers Absolutely Non-Essential!!!!

Read a fascinating article about a small town lawyer representing a fitness and tanning center in New Mexico. The female governor  has controversially ordered operating restrictions and sometimes closures which has prevented the spread of COVID, but also has saved untold lives!!

Nationwide "fitness centers" sometimes function as hook-up or sort of like pick up bars. These facilities are CERTAINLY NON-ESSENTIAL except to horny people who will have to find another way to get laid. Womanizing is also common at these places. 

The attorney, Blair Dunn, representing the Fitness center and a Cowboy dining entity believes the State should compensate the Roswell businessman who owns the place. This is quite the stretch in IMO.Tax payers sure as hell do not WANT TO PAY for lost wages/revenue at a workout place. Run around your neighborhood block a few laps at no cost. 

Carlsbad state senator Gregg Fulfer  is also backing his constituency as he is seeking arbitrary Corona Virus Policy damage compensation from the state. The gaping hole in Gregg's feeble logic is that Walmart, Costco, and Sam's Club provides staples to the masses. Pull your head our of your bum Gregg!!!

I fully support Grisham and admire her for having the guts to stand up to people who only care about their bottom line profit rather than the health of the people!!!!!!!! Similar stuff going on in Odessa, Texas and Hobbs, NM

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
