An Old College Experience

This is a snippet about an acquaintance of mine at a college in Abilene Texas USA back in the early 80s which has since become a University. Haven't they all?

Scott was full of ennui and restlessness at the time pursuing a Major that he did not really have his heart in. If I recall, his parents wanted him to get into a field or profession that really did not float his boat. He would walk around the dormitory halls listlessly bored with his studies looking to socialize.

In fact he would play that theme song from the popular soap opera The Young and the Restless so anybody listening might bond and empathize with his plight. I want to stress this is not the same Scott Pendergrass who was accused of distributing child pornography by the Air Force of the United States.

The Scott I am talking about was a good person and listener to those who made it to his inner circle. A very thoughtful and considerate human being. Sometimes it is possible to receive and possess images accidentally via spam or junk mail which should have been the OTHER Scott's defense in his appeal!
