No expensive Agent required to sell your home

What is with these realtors stroking themselves for charging you 7% to sell YOUR OWN HOUSE? I was reading the Carlsbad New Mexico newspaper about a guy  named Ramsie Hernandez  who was honored by Chaves County  Realtor's Association as Rookie of the Year. Love Mom and Dad. I would love him too if my social security check was not getting it done in retirement!!

Also a  man in Roswell resigned his position at the airport to become a real estate agent. Do you realize if lovable Ramsie sells your $300,000 home that he makes TWENTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!  That is more than janitors with experience make at Carlsbad High School!

There is a beautiful home at 304 N Mesquite St which is for sale by owner. I am sure the homeowner knows you can make arrangements with title company YOURSELF! Giving away a ton a money for realtor fees is rapidly becoming a thing of the past!

It is NOT that difficult to draft  your own purchase agreement

Be sure it includes the following:

The full names of the buyer and the seller
The  property address(Don't forget the county)
The purchase price
A brief but inclusive description of the property’s condition at the time of sale
An indication that you’re satisfied with the property’s condition
Clearly state which fixtures and appliances are to be sold to the buyer
Conditions or repairs that need to be completed before the sale can go through
The target closing date for the sale
Signatures from the buyers and sellers involved with the transaction

You know if the greedy realtors would just charge a more reasonable fee of, say, 3% they would not have dug themselves such a deep hole. FSBO happened because listing agents wanted tooo much.

Read the work of  Caroline McCarthy to COMPLETELY BYPASS having to interact with a realtor if you have to sell your home. Also Zillow has built up platform  to support FSBO although they are still tweaking it some. Good luck to you!
