Well maintained and reasonably priced campground in touristy part of New Mexico USA

In this worrisome Corona Virus era, many Americans with means take to the road. The perception is COVID is unlikely to kill you in the ventilated outdoors.

So as weary travelers we happened upon this campground with a Tepee, constructed from Pine logs,  in the village of Ruidoso New Mexico USA. It was located not too far from the intersection of Sudderth and Mechem not too distant from a fine dining establishment named Tina's. Don't have their delectable Coconut cream pie if you are diabetic or struggle with controlling your blood sugar. 

We can not think of the name of RV/camping area in middle of the city, but did meet a very pleasant gentleman named Ross McClure. Also the lady, Ana, who appears to own and run the weekend getaway was ultra friendly and accommodating.

I was disappointed in commentary by Brian Dameron who felt the pet owner accommodations were substandard.  Ana was not gestapo about donning masks even though some of the guests were taking liberties. On my morning run to the bathroom, a guest emerged as I was entering who was coughing without his mask as he exited past me. Faint smell of cigarette smoke as I squeezed out my morning feces. Do not blame the husband/wife owners as it is impossible to corral all the incivility in a large group.  

Finally a shout out to the African American couple who slept in the Tepee you see in the picture. They were respectful and cordial. We did not talk much but waved and smiled with them and their children on the the way to the restroom and evening strolls. 

I know relations are strained between blacks and whites regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. I wanted to talk to them about the violent criminal records of George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, and Jacob Blake. Each of these Black men have become false martyrs! All three of them had lengthy criminal records. White people get killed all the time by police officers with barely a mention. Killing people who are a danger to society is just fine! Take that away from police officers and CRIME WILL SPIRAL OUT OF CONTROL!

Roxanne Torres, Cheri Chavez represented by shyster attorney Laura Schauer-Ives, Oriana Ferrell(reckless driver whose son ATTACKED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER) deserve to be locked up in a penitentiary until their attitude is sufficiently adjusted!!!

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Gas stations doing this are in violation of some law. Not many of have the time to file a lawsuit against gas

Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
