Getting Financially Gouged at Hospital

Research estimates as much as 58% of students have cheated while in medical school.

Also any estimate of cheating is likely underestimated for simple reason cheaters are also liars when it comes polls or surveys. Read the findings of Kenneth D. Royal for more depth and breadth on this disturbing truth.

So the next time you shake your doctor's hand, that same hand was once covered with crib notes for a midterm human physiology exam.

The snail mail advertisement you see was sent by Naishadh A. Mankad, MD who used to practice medicine in Hobbs, NM USA. Doctor Mankad promises to deliver high-quality medical attention and a lotta love and compassion at Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell, New Mexico.

Lovelace Regional tried to rip us off bad a few months ago when my daughter went in for some GP referral  Echography on her kidneys. The referring doctor told us Lovelace would not ask for any out of pocket money AND that our BCBS would be billed for the diagnostic work. We arrived and were informed at the admissions desk they will bill our credit card $750!! God Damn, our monthly Blue Cross Blue Shield Premiums are over $600 and this greedy Hospital wants $750!!!!!!!!! out of pocket.

The attendant was almost apologetic suggesting she had seen this same type of BS ripoff with other patients. We walked out and scheduled in Lubbock where insurance covered almost all the cost with NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. Roswell is a dirty little town with a number of doctors who probably cheated in medical school with a lot medical school debt. They will over bill you for substandard work. I recommend all elective surgery should be done in Albuquerque or Lubbock, Texas.

A couple of colleagues who suffered heart attacks were airlifted out of Roswell to be treated.

Level 6 guide Doreen Graham provided the public with this disturbing review of the well below average quality of care she and a loved one suffered through at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center:

The ER Department gave abysmal patient care to a very nice person. The hospital was at capacity and unable to get a bed. The patient was kept in an ER bed with the sides raised unable to get out of the bed to use the phone to call his family to come and get him.

In a 12 stay he can note 2 acts if kindness. A CT staff member gave him a used sheet to cover him. Water and food was given after hours if being in the room. He was neglected, ignored, was treated rudely. Communication with family painted a a picture if care. It was 12 hours before we realized his care bordered on abuse and we got him out..

Other certified reviewers with negative evaluations include Kimi Amend,Maira De Arcos,Shannon Burkett(who stated they give you a lot of extra unnecessary tests so they can overbill your insurance),Bill Haynie,Gina Mendoza relates her spider bite nightmare, tremm meem livid about lack of bedside manners,

  1. The doctor you mentioned used to practice in Farmington NM as well. He is good listener. Not sure why he moves around so much. My wife liked him. She also has seen Dr. Sameer Islam, MD in Lubbock Texas. With a last name like Islam in Red Neck West Texas, you know the dude had to be a good doctor.

There are quite a few gay fraternities at Texas Tech, so one would expect a lot of anal and rectal surgery demand!!!

    1. Richard D. Lyons wrote way back in 1984 about widespread cheating among doctors to be. Lyons states that three of the four key tests involved in the process leading to the licensing of physicians have been stolen, reproduced and sold for prices as high as $50,000!!

The fraud relating to the tests is unbelievable,'' said Janet Carson, general legal counsel of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the professional organization in Philadelphia that drafts most of the tests. ''It's illegal and immorally reprehensible, sucks and undermines everyone's diminishing faith in the medical profession.''

    2. I have two horrifying accounts of financial ripoffs and downright fraud. One reported by NIck Gonzales was at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento California way back in 2012. The other was at Lovelace in Roswell,NM. My cousin was doing some cross country traveling and experienced extreme pain in his gut in Tatum. Was rushed to ER in Roswell with what they diagnosed as appendicitis.

Cousin was carrying full coverage BCBS. The operation and hospital stay added up to $34,000 and some change. BCBS ONLY paid $24000 leaving cuz with 10 grand he owed the hospital. His monthly premiums for his family an him is well over $1200 and HE STILL OWES TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Leaving out some details about 4 months later he starts getting calls at work, late at night, early in morning, his wife is getting harassing phone calls, etc from an 877 number in Melbourne Florida called Medical Revenue Services

He contacted Lemberg Law who helped put a stop to the collection attempt harassment. Medical Revenue Services has a low rating and has multiple pending civil lawsuits alleging criminal actions and fraud. The BBB is aware of the extreme patient dissatisfaction associated with predator collection attempts.

It is the GREEDY incompetent doctors and surgeons who are to blame! The $24,000 that the insurance company paid out is more than enough. The avarice of the money hungry surgeon in Roswell is what is causing the stress!!! I say disbar the scum from every practicing medicine again. Take away his license. like the guy said he probably cheated his way through medical school for the right to rip off honest people. Complaints and making this scam public is start. Please share your financial nightmare here!!!

    3. You must have listened to that radio commercial aired by Richland Motors.

The dude was whining about how Governor Grisham is a dictator and HOW her COVID policies has ruined the car dealership's sales. The moron must believe the "freedom of the people" makes it OK to spread the Corona Virus.

Lysette Molinar is the only honest car salesperson there and actually supports the government restrictions which includes wearing masks as social distancing.

We do not plan on doing business there for our children's college vehicles because the owners of Richland Motors are clearly supporters of NAZI Donald Trump. Our 4 kids will buy their cars in Lubbock where the dealerships have the common sense to keep their personal politics out their professional lives!!!!!

I am not sure if you were giving a good or bad review of Dr. Naishadh Mankad, MD, but a lot of people like him at healthgrades.

If you think your experience at Lovelace was bad, it will get worse because of RISD employee Iva Amaro. She posted on super negative remarks on Hope Morales Facebook page about NOT wearing mask, getting vaccinated etc. She said the government is sinister. OK woman, move the hell out in the middle of nowhere and see if you can survive without the government. I know I would not miss you one bit. Problem with ignorant people like you is that you are not intelligent to realize you are wrong and your pathetic decision making is endangering the lives of children in your class you walking spreader!!!

My cousin lives down the road from her in 300 block of East Poe. Her hubby Fabian is level headed and practical, but she is a head case who would be arrested if she live in Australia where the troops and military are aggressively removing fools like her from public places when they are ignoring COVID rules!!

Hope Morales needs to put a gag on that woman. She might comply if she feared losing her job with the school district.
