Exploitative Pinoy Employer Screwing over his Workers

A hard working Philippine man trying to support his family was fed up with the lack of professionalism his employer practiced.  Artemio Valentino, a construction worker, was abandoned at a work site with no food or potable sanitary water. The exhausted and angry father walked close to 10 kilometres to a well known investigative journalists/reporter radio man who tracked down the scum who abandoned his work crew.  

This island nation claims to  protect labor, promote full employment, provide equal work opportunity etc., but the enforcement of these enumerated protections is weak and substandard. Ruth Abbey Gita-Carlos did a decent job of elucidating some of the finer points of the Labor Code, but there are just enough nebulous nuances that give deceitful and uncaring employers loopholes to exploit the God Fearing Catholic citizenry!!
