RoboCall Suicide

Anybody who has been irritated late at night by automated phone calling bots(aka robocalls) is probably familiar with the tragic plight of 82 year old Marjorie Jones. She killed herself after a fraudulent robocall stole her life savings!!

Her granddaughter, Angela Stancik, spoke of the momentous and depressing effect this had on all who  loved and lost the precious member of their family. Grandma was spoofed by the scummy elder preying  criminals who made the call look like someone on her contact list.

Some scam robocalls these days are rigged to make it look like they originate at a hospital. For example, patients waiting on the results of cancer tests, etc.  The vulnerable person is then more susceptible to having  sensitive personal and financial information stolen from them!
