Not making Pot Smoking legal is wrecking careers

We have all heard the comparisons between the legality of selling alcohol and the illegality of marijuana. Why is it OK to purchase booze and NOT pot when drinking has been shown to impair one's judgment more than smoking pot!?

Many kids from well to do families make the mistake of smoking pot while they are driving or hanging out at the park. Stress from school, parents fighting, and difficulty with one's sexual identity often lead to seeking relief lighting up a joint or a Doobie.

Drug use and possession on your criminal record is something that can destroy your earning capacity and potentially your life. Back Craig Abalos and his desire to make POT legal. Many kids in Roswell New Mexico would be forever indebted.

Markeys Zaragoza, Scott Fierro, Richard Morales, Chris Salazar, Robert Avila, Kayla Duncan, Mason Cast, Phillip Magill, and many others all DESERVE a second chance

    Alien City has a very low average family income. Misty Ontiveros was trying to earn her salary selling or traffficking METH. Illegally pushing controlled substances beats working the Taco Bell Drive in until you get arrested.

    We hope the honorable judge Thomas Lilley will do his level best to crack down on deadly drug production and sales in the Pecos Valley!! Plenty of new jobs at Kirtland Air Force base in regard to space defense. Retool all you druggies and make an honest living.

    Chad Botello broke into his loving mother's home and then pleaded NOT GUILTY! Neighbor witnesses near 200 East Frasier could not believe the plea after his dear mother did her best to steer him straight. His sister Jose wants him locked up to learn his lesson.

      I do not know much about Chad other than he was a good guy in High School at Roswell's Goddard High School.

      His problems were probably similar to Virginia Lynn Bolinger and Cassandra Kirkman who have had their difficulties with weapons intoxicating liquor and drugs.

      Remember these people were somebody's children! Maybe their lives were wrecked by fighting parents and the ravages of divorce. I know pastor Troy Smothermon at Church on the Move can help provided you will donate between 5 an 10 percent of your take home pay in their tithing plates. Not much to pay for personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I mean HONK REAL LOUD if you love sweet Jesus when you drive down Brasher. Hallelujah and Kumba Ya to all ya Jesus Freaks out there!!!

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
