Major Online Tax Filing entity experiencing extremely high traffic Volumes

I wanted to reach out and see if anybody else was having issues with IRS Turbo Tax Filing program. I had heard from some colleagues in the breakroom at work that Turbo had settled some type of class action lawsuit because they are obligated to allow individuals and families with certain filing statuses to file FOR FREE.

The screen shot you see here is a login security screen where Intuit or Turbo I guess is supposed to send us a 6 digit security code via a cell phone text. So we never got that security code!!! Tried multiple times. Maybe they can't handle the volume now that they have been ordered by Federal court to MAKE GOOD with all the customers they overcharged last tax season?! It did say on login screen that it might take a moment to send the code, BUT AFTER 2 MINUTES STILL NADA!!!

Leslie Albrecht can provide you with more detail regarding the lawsuit outcome and overall nature of the litigation.  Irina Ivanova indicates it was a predatory practice against low income wage earners. Turbo was charged with implementing a bait and switch flagrantly fraudulent and deceptive advertising campaign which pissed off many low income black families in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia.

Among the list of US citizens who have voiced similar complaints:

Navy Veteran Donald Boston 1001 Lake Tate Rd, Sylacauga Alabama 35151

John Melcher 1110 Third Street Southpittsburg Tn 37380

Laura Rosenberg, Belinda Ackerman, Danley B Wolfe

The beefs these respectable citizens had were not only related to difficulty filing their Federal Returns, but also grievances they had with Spectrum ISP WiFi provider.
