I hope you all had the opportunity and pleasure to read that excellent article by Tom Dart regarding the ever present abortion controversy is the great state of Texas.

 Closing arguments took place on Wednesday in a federal lawsuit challenging new Texas abortion restrictions. If these restrictions are allowed to remain in effect, then only a very few of the state's abortion clinics will remain open forcing women in remote areas of the state to make long journeys in order to get an abortion.




 I believe having laws that make it more difficult to get an abortion will make both the men and women think twice before having casual unprotected sex. We are all aware of the significant financial and emotional burden of raising a child. Life as a couple knows it comes to a screeching halt after having a kiddo.

The romance can wane, arguments can flare up, and general marital discord is much more likely to occur when there is conflict on how to raise the children.

 Finally in an attempt to bully and intimidate women seeking abortions at Texas clinics, anti-abortion zealot Karen Garnett asked her followers to record license plate numbers of everybody who was seeking abortions or advice at these clinics. If any readers happen to know her car license plate number, will you kindly record it here for everyone to view so that maybe Karen Garnett will get a taste of her own medicine and drop out of sight.

    Simple minded and ignorant Betty Ullery of Roswell New Mexico believes ALL ABORTIONS ARE WRONG. Betty compares killing wolves and and birds with a mother suffering from extreme medical complications having an abortion to save the mother's life.

    Betty, was your daugher ever raped? Would you have helped your daughter raise the child of the negro who violently raped her. If so, what would you tell your granddaughter about her "loving " criminal father??

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Gas stations doing this are in violation of some law. Not many of have the time to file a lawsuit against gas

Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
