Lets hope ENDWI Awareness Campaign makes alcoholics think Twice!

 The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) aired the following commercial about the melancholy and abject misery induced by COVID isolation and, apparently, DWI isolation. The blue eyed prison inmate in the characteristic orange prison jump suit is crying to his wife over the phone through the glass in the visitation are. 

The guy has been convicted of, probably, his third DUI/DWI offense and wants everyone to feel sorry for him because he is isolated in the SLAMMER WHERE HE BELONGS!!!  I am pretty sure the Awareness Campaign ENDWI is trying to pressure selfish alcoholics into NOT MAKING THE MISTAKE OF DRIVING INEBRIATED. 




Who could not have been moved by emotionally poignant piece written by Danielle Stratton over the tragic life ending injury sustained by her friend Endicott College student Craig Sampson III? All Drunk drivers who murder somebody with their vehicle should have their lives humanely ended by lethal injection. 

NO MORE OF THIS AFFLUENZA BULLSHIT MINDSET!!  
When judge Lucy Jean Hudson, in an act of extremely poor judgement, gave vehicular murderer Ethan Couch ONLY 10 years of probation, the country erupted in a chorus of discontent and anger. I only hope she has not had one peaceful night of rest since then. The woman is a disgrace to the Texas Tech law school.

The Clerk has your Gasoline Receipt

How many times on a cold or rainy day have you gotten the following message at the gas pump indicating you have to enter the convenience store in order to pick up your receipt for gasoline purchase? The last thing anybody wants to see from a credit card purchase gas pump is a message stating that the clerk has the receipt! On this particular day, I was already late to pick up our daughter from day care and did not have time to walk into AllSups to pick up receipt from the convenience store attendant. Did I say CONVENIENCE store!? I think many roadside convenience stores intentionally do not reload the receipt paper rolls in order to force customers into their establishment. Once inside, customer may buy a lottery ticket, cigarettes, beer, condom, etc. Many patrons need the gas receipts either to be reimbursed by their employer or for their IRS tax itemization. Gas stations doing this are in violation of some law. Not many of have the time to file a lawsuit against gas

Homeowner's Tree dangerously Blocking Stop Sign

 As I far as I know code enforcement has contacted the female you see in the picture below regarding a huge front yard tree that is blocking a stop sign at a busy four way intersection.  She would be in violation of laws dealing with obstructing traffic signs in any other city. She resides at 113 West Deming Zip code 88203 in Roswell New Mexico. You can see how dangerous her uncut and untrimmed huge tree is at the corner of South Richardson and Deming in the picture below. I am sure she has received a lot of stimulus money as well as unemployment payments from Uncle Sam so I know she has the cash to cover the costs of cutting the hazardous tree down to size!! I worked for code enforcement in Midland Texas and they would have warned this homeowner once and the then fined her for neglect and threatening the general welfare of the public.
